Terri Bubnar
MA, PLPC, NCC
Terri earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and is provisionally licensed, bringing experience from both private practice and community mental health settings. She is passionate about providing compassionate, effective, and individualized care to clients across the lifespan.
Terri’s therapeutic approach is collaborative and tailored to each person’s unique needs. She integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, mindfulness techniques, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. Her goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, build resilience, and foster meaningful change.
As an adoptive mother of seven, Terri brings a deep understanding of family dynamics, attachment, trauma, and the complexities of parenting. As a fellow veteran, she also holds a special passion for serving service members, veterans, and their families. She believes that every person—child, teen, or adult—has the innate capacity to heal, grow, and thrive.
At the core of Terri’s work is the belief that no one should have to carry their burdens alone. And if you’re going through something difficult, Terri is here to help you “grow through what you’re going through”, offering steady support, clarity, and guidance along the way. Healing is a journey, and Terri is committed to walking alongside her clients with authenticity, compassion, and hope.
In her free time Terri enjoys a good Chai Tea Latte and long hikes to chase waterfalls. Terri also has a passion for fitness.
