We know insurance can be confusing. Our billing team will verify your benefits and provide as much information as possible about your expected costs before services begin.Because insurance plans vary, coverage decisions are ultimately made by your insurance company. While we are happy to assist with understanding your benefits, clients remain responsible for confirming coverage details and any balances not paid by their insurance plan.We're always happy to answer questions and help you navigate the process.Insurances We Accept:

Please Note: We are not able to accept Medicaid or Medicare insurance plans.
Cancellation Policy: A 24 hour notice is needed if you are unable to keep your appointment. Clients can be charged a no show fee of up to $50 for any appointments missed without 24 hour notice.
Self-Pay Rates
Some clients choose to pay out of pocket because we are not in-network with their insurance plan, while others prefer not to use insurance for therapy services.
Rates
Initial Intake Session: $160
60-Minute Individual Session: $150
45-Minute Individual Session: $140
If you'd like to seek reimbursement through your insurance company, we can provide a superbill upon request.
Because insurance plans vary, we encourage you to verify your out-of-network benefits directly with your insurance provider. While we are happy to provide the documentation needed, reimbursement decisions are made by your insurance company and any costs not covered by insurance remain the client's responsibility.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service.
We accept all major credit cards and checks made payable to Unbound Counseling LLC. Please note that a 3% processing fee applies to credit card transactions.
To help ensure a smooth billing process, all clients are required to maintain a current credit card on file prior to scheduling appointments.
Good Faith Estimate
If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services under the No Surprises Act.
This estimate outlines anticipated charges for your care and is intended to help you understand and plan for the cost of treatment. If your treatment needs change, we will provide an updated estimate as required.

At Unbound Counseling, we believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, high-quality mental health care.
Unbound Community Care was created to help make counseling more accessible while supporting the next generation of mental health professionals serving West Virginia and our surrounding communities.
Through this program, clients receive individual counseling from graduate counseling interns who are completing the final stage of their master's degree training. Every intern works under the supervision of an experienced, licensed clinician and receives ongoing mentorship, consultation, and support throughout their clinical experience.
Our goal is simple: to provide affordable, quality counseling while investing in the future of our profession and the well-being of our community.
What Is a Graduate Counseling Intern?
Graduate counseling interns are master's-level counseling students completing the required clinical portion of their degree. Before seeing clients, they have completed graduate coursework in counseling theory, ethics, human development, assessment, multicultural counseling, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
At Unbound Counseling, our graduate counseling interns receive regular supervision, case consultation, and mentorship from licensed clinicians to support both their professional growth and the quality of care they provide.
