For clients utilizing health insurance benefits, you are responsible for all deductibles and copays as determined by your insurance plan.

Please check your coverage carefully by the number on the back of your card and asking the following questions:

    • Do I have mental health benefits?

    • What is my deductible and has it been met? Some insurance programs have a lofty deductible that will require you pay the first 100-1500 dollars before they pick up the charges.

    • When does my deductible reset?

    • How many sessions per year does my health insurance allow?

    • What is my co-pay?

Cancellation Policy: A 24 hour notice is needed if you are unable to keep your appointment.  Clients can be billed for all appointments missed without 24 hour notice.

PRIVATE PAY If we do not accept your insurance plan, you have the option of paying out of pocket, and then we will provide you with an invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. For those who may prefer to not use insurance or maintain greater control over their privacy, direct payment is available. Please contact us about our hourly rates.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

Under the No Surprises Act, you are entitled to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of what the charges could be for the services provided to you. It is not possible for a therapist to know, in advance, how many sessions may be necessary or appropriate for a given person upon the initiation of therapy. Your total cost of services will depend upon the number of sessions you attend, your individual circumstances, and the type and amount of services that are provided to you. This estimate is not a contract and does not obligate you to obtain any services listed, nor does it include any services rendered to you that are not identified here. If you receive a bill at least $400 more than your GFE, you may dispute or appeal the bill.
