Individual Therapy

A COUPLE OF IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:

  • Clients who work with us must be a resident of West Virginia and living in the state, per our licensing regulations (this doesn’t include temporary traveling out of state).

  • We maintain preventative health measures so that in-office sessions are comfortable, clean, and safe for you.

We are all faced with significant challenges in life while trying to find our purpose and our own fulfillment.

We all want relationships and experiences that bring us joy and excitement.

You might be unsure of what you are feeling. You might be totally sure what it is, but have no idea how to begin to address it. You might have past relationships or family history that has stolen your joy. Perhaps stress, anxiety, depression, or perfectionism is getting in the way of your life.

Rest assured, we have been there. It’s why we are so passionate about what we do. If you’ve made it this far on our page, then maybe there is a part of you ready to explore a different way of living.

You are the “expert of yourself”.

Telling you what to do won't work. That's not how we work.

Our goal is to help you identify and work toward the changes you desire in your life and relationships, while providing you with the skills and tools to become more mindful, resilient, and compassionate toward yourself and the others in your life.

Here are some common issues addressed in therapy:

  • Communication & conflict skills

  • Confidence
  • Body image concerns
  • Handling emotions
  • Lifestyle management: eat, move, sleep

Have you ever reached out to a counseling agency, and received the dreaded “Waitlist” email? Ugh! Us too!

While we cannot guarantee that every clinician has the availability that you need, we can promise that you that you will be contacted back with immediate openings available and/or other resources/referrals. We take every effort to decrease barriers to accessing mental health care. Our clinical coordinators handle scheduling of initial appointments. They are familiar with all of our clinicians-their specialties, qualities, availability, insurances they take, and schedules. We are committed to getting you scheduled immediately (unless it’s the weekend - then we appreciate your patience until Monday rolls around!)
