Lauren Webster
Graduate Intern
Hi, I'm Lauren! My path to becoming a counselor has been shaped by both my personal and professional experiences. As a former first-grade teacher, documentary family photographer, and mom, I've spent much of my life creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and understood. My personal experiences with counseling have also shown me the power of having someone walk alongside you through life's most difficult moments, inspiring me to do the same for others.
I'm especially interested in working with women, girls, and families. Right now, I find myself drawn to person-centered, feminist, and solution-focused approaches, though I'm excited to continue growing and learning throughout my training.
My hope is that every client who sits down with me feels genuinely heard, accepted, and safe. I believe healing begins with connection, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they discover their strengths and move toward the life they want to create.
