“Every human has a true authentic self. The trauma is the disconnection from it. The healing is the reconnection with it.” – Gabor Maté

Therapy, for me, begins in the body and in the places where experience settles and truth lives. My work is steady and relational, grounded in the belief that healing can begin when we slow down enough to hear what the nervous system has been trying to say.

I earned my MA in Counseling more than 15 years ago, but life asked me to carry a lot before I could return to this work. Navigating dual‑military life, competing as a collegiate athlete, raising a large, young family, and surviving cancer while pregnant with twins reshaped how I understand pain and resilience. Those years taught me how the body holds what the mind can’t outrun, and how rebuilding yourself from the inside out is slow, courageous, vulnerable work. Coming back to this field at this stage of my life feels aligned; shaped by the experiences that matured my understanding of healing.

Depth sits at the center of my work.

I’m drawn to clients who are seeking depth and meaning. I walk with people navigating postpartum identity shifts, the intensity and burnout of parenthood, major life transitions, spiritual awakening, and the ache of feeling disconnected from their purpose. Veterans and athletes also find their way to this work as they move beyond high‑performance roles and learning who they are outside the uniform and discovering identity that isn’t built on performance. This is a space to reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been waiting to be seen.

Clinically, I integrate evidence‑based modalities with embodied, intuitive work, drawing from Attachment theory, Somatic healing, Trauma‑informed CBT, Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal and nervous system work, and Mind‑body‑spirit integration.

Hard things don’t intimidate me. I sit with people in the places where life feels heavy such as grief, numbness, identity loss, and the quiet moments when you’re not sure what comes next. My work stays in the deeper layers, where the body remembers and truth has room to surface. Healing isn’t about perfection; it grows through clarity, honesty, and the slow return to yourself with compassion.
