Anna Carr

MS, NCC

Anna is a Provisionally Licensed Counselor and a National Certified Counselor.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Master of Science in School Counseling from West Virginia University.

Anna knows counseling can feel intimidating- she feared attending counseling herself for many years! She believes that the first step to healing, growth, and change is being seen and understood and considers it an honor to hear people’s stories and experiences.

She loves working with children, adolescents, and young adults, striving to create a counseling relationship and environment that are safe and supportive of change. She believes it is essential to work with kids and families to support the therapeutic process and holistic healing.

While each client has different needs, Anna’s counseling is primarily rooted in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy.

Outside of work, she loves to run, go on walks with her golden retriever Emmy, spend time with her family, and listen to music.
